I fell in love with this piece of art created by Alisa Holland months ago. It’s been sitting quietly in on my Pinterest board and I think it’s ready to be shared.
Some of you are struggling this week. Your own health issues are weighing you down. Worries about a beloved parent are keeping you up at night. Relationships are spiraling out of control. The stress of balancing work and family is overwhelming. There’s too much to do and not enough time, energy, or sanity to manage it all.
Maybe it’s time to let go. Maybe it’s time to stop trying to do it all on your own.
Let go of the worry, fear, anxiety, control, pressure, uncertainty, and expectations that are pressing in on you. And in their place, ask God to fill you with trust, peace, confidence, tranquility, acceptance, and wisdom.
Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.” – Matthew 12:28

Thanks for the post this morning Rachel. I do have a hard time letting go, and needed to be reminded of the wonderful benefits associated with it!
Have a great day!
Don’t we all!! :)
I don’t exactly know how to respond to this except…I feel like the Lord prompted you to put this up here for me. :-) On top of cancer I found out some very crushing information about my husband, and now I am in the process of truly “Letting Go”…living into the art piece you posted is the most difficult/freeing thing I can imagine right now.
Just sent you an email.
Excellent image!
You must have been reading my mind… Exactly what I needed to be reminded of today! As always Rachel, I love your blog, courage and inspiration!! :)
Thank you, Tara! :)
