By special request, here are some fabulous looking recipes that can be made ahead for feeding breakfast/brunch to a group. My friend, the requestor, is not a fan of blueberries (how is that possible???), so last week’s Blueberry Roundup didn’t really appeal to her.
The last thing you want to do when you have company is spend all morning cooking in the kitchen! These recipes can be made ahead – some can be made several days ahead and frozen – leaving you more time to spend with your guests.
Overnight Peaches and Cream French Toast from All You. How delicious would this be with some fresh Georgia peaches?
Egg Muffins from Kalyn’s Kitchen can be made several days ahead and frozen making it even easier on you to be ready for your guests.
This Baked Oatmeal from Inspired Taste uses strawberries, bananas, and chocolate chips – three of my favorite foods in one dish!
What traditional breakfast/brunch is complete with some type of sausage casserole? This Sausage and Cheese Grits casserole from Betty Crocker is one I’ve made before and is truly delicious. If you like food with a little kick to it, you can use hot sausage.
Overnight Fridge Berry Oatmeal from Busy Mommy is a little different because it is oatmeal that is served cold, and would make a nice cool complement to your brunch menu.
The list would not be complete without a Southern Plate recipe. This Banana Crumb Cake is a nice twist on the traditional cinnamon crumb cake.
And let’s finish off the menu with a fresh Ruby Fruit Salad from Martha Stewart. This salad uses a delicious syrup made from lime juice and brown sugar.
Do you have a go-to breakfast/brunch recipe for company?
Have a fantastic week!
